HEY NINETEEN - Tribute to Steely Dan will be returning to Bridge Street Live. Hey Nineteen is a pure tribute reproducing the original recordings of Steely Dan to an exacting finish. Every vocal, harmony, horn line, solo, and sound are attended to with the utmost care.
Hey Nineteen- Tribute to Steely Dan, is a dynamic 11 piece band said to be one of the top 10 tributes in the USA, Hey Nineteen packs the room annually and the reviews are always stellar from the Bridge Street Live audiences.
Hey Nineteen consists of 3 horns, 3 female background vocalists, 2 guitars, keys, bass, and drums. The band prides itself on not only playing this complex music with spot on accuracy but also on putting on an electrifying show at the same time! The music is performed with intensity and so much passion that it rings authentic, close your eyes and you'll be there!
The Band will play selections from the first Steely Dan album (Can't Buy a Thrill), through the seventh (2 Against Nature). Hey Nineteen brings the absolute favorites including such hits as: Do It Again, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Kid Charlemagne, My Old School, Reelin' in the Years, Peg, Josie, Deacon Blues, and Hey Nineteen, as well as many of the deep cuts.
The group includes: Dale DeJoy, Rick Steinau, Ajay Coletta, Jon Audette, Doug Sequeira, Joanna Casinno, Kim Hadsell, Becky Arsenault, Greg Cambio, Joe LiVolsi.

What secrets lurk behind the formidable stone walls of Connecticut's oldest house? Find out on Saturday, October 27th from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm when the Henry Whitfield State Museum presents Halloween Hysterics at Henry's. See the 379-year-old Whitfield House in a new light - or rather, in no light. The lights will be off as visitors explore the entire building. The basement, usually closed to the public, will have a few surprises for those brave enough to venture there. Bring a flashlight to investigate all the nooks and crannies.
In the museum's Visitor Center, enjoy some candy, craft a gravestone or gargoyle out of clay, and do some coloring. In the Education Center, learn about the Guilford Green graveyards, the Whitfield connection to the Salem witch trials, and the origins of our Halloween traditions in the display "Holidaze: The Real Story of Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas." This program is recommended for ages 6 and older. Admission is $6 and free for ages 12 and younger. Parking is free at the museum, located at 248 Old Whitfield Street in Guilford (exit 58 off I-95). History gets creepy with this spooky look behind the scenes. Tales of vampires, corpses on ice, and death portraits haunt the storage vaults of the CHS. Come and get the history scared out of you!
You'll visit storage and collection areas not normally open to the public, and learn how the CHS preserves the stories of Connecticut, with a focus on our creepiest tales and objects.
