Cobb School, Montessori, The   Map
The Cobb School, Montessori's Young Children's Community for toddlers offers an environment that is nurturing, where motor-coordination, independence and language are cultivated. The Primary program for preschoolers uses concrete materials to illustrate abstract concepts in four major areas: practical life, sensorial, language and mathematics. Music, art, science, geography, gardening and physical education are part of the daily curriculum. Our after-school program, The Nest, is available for preschool and elementary students.

Stepping Stones is more than a daycare center! We are an educational center offering something for every child. In addition to quality care for children ages 3 to 12, Stepping Stones Educational Center, Inc. offers a 3-year-old and 4-year-old nursery school program and a 5-year-old pre-K program, summer science and arts programs, vacation programs in science and art, science classes for school systems, along with teacher training. The Children's Center, open since 1958, is a developmental preschool with three-hour classes available for children ages 3 through kindergarten or optional extended hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from September through June. We believe the function of a preschool is to provide richness of informal play experience. Our environment is designed to stimulate and encourage a child's natural development.
